The GEOS symposium in Carona in 2007 took place from 29 April to 1 May, returning to the same working environment used in 2006. The scientific and organizational sessions were held at the Calina Observatory, while participants were accommodated in the Calina guesthouse, ensuring continuity and familiar logistical conditions.
The programme opened on Sunday 29 April 2007 at 14:30, followed by an afternoon of discussions and an observation session planned for the evening. On Monday 30 April 2007, the day was devoted to presentations, scientific exchanges, and coordination work, with a second observation session in the evening.
On Tuesday 1 May 2007, the morning focused on GEOS structure and internal organization, and the meeting concluded around midday.
This return to the same facilities—both for work and accommodation—provided a stable and coherent setting, very much in the spirit of the previous Carona meetings.
